for many residents.

With that being said, it should be obvious to all E-bike riders that it is absolutely necessary to wear a helmet at all times while riding one.

Not only could they potentially save you in a fatal situation but in most provinces/cities in China, it is a law to have to wear one.

Recently, a new traffic law introduced in Jiangsu, Zhejiang stated, failure to wear a helmet while riding an E-bike will result in a fine of 20-50 RMB.

Almost all of the provinces in China will more than likely start enforcing this new law, which is scheduled to start from June 1st, 2020.

If you don't already own a helmet (which you should), it's better to buy one ASAP as prices have already started to double/triple via WeChat and other e-commerce sites
