HD Ningbo

I know someone who worked there and apparently wrote one of the ISR reviews and I know enough that I’d never work for a HD School and especially not this one. He said Ningbo was great, but the school management was both chaotic and downright cruel to some staff.
I was also told that the British headmaster (if he is still there) talked a good game when my friend signed up but did whatever the owners told him to do (which was always about business and not education) and didn’t protect his staff once.
Secondhand account relaying a friend’s experience. The exact employment period and whether the same leadership remains are unspecified.

That place was an SLT killing field. Hardly anyone above a certain level finished their contract.
I have a very poor impression if them mostly because of the type of colleagues I had who came from there. It's certainly not an international school as much as a Chinese bilingual school. It can probably work for some people though.
