I remember one of my friends told me how they fired a teacher whose his wife was about to give birth, specifically one week before giving birth. Regarding the fact that everyone tried to speak to the principal, she threatened to end their contracts and even forbids them to visit the family.
Secondhand account published in 2025 about an incident whose date is unknown. In a follow-up, the reporter acknowledges that the former international-division principal had left and current website staff were different. This does not describe confirmed current management.

On the website, the principal is a man. Has the principal you were speaking about since left?
The old principle of the international division left 2 years ago. Not sure if you are talking about the white principal or the Chinese one, but both are new to the school. All these faces on their website are new. As far as I know the one who makes all the decisions is the Chinese female principal, other than that the rest are just faces to attract kids and foreign teachers. Also one thing about Ningbo, you need a police clearance from ur country even if you’ve been living in China your whole life.
