As current as it gets. I don’t want to speak about a specific person here especially in an overall less-than-positive manner.
I get the feeling the experience is not an uncommon situation among private English-language high schools. Seems they are now a way out of the public school system for those that can afford it (and don’t see their kids being successful in that environment) more than a chance for upward mobility etc. At the end of the day that’s always going to be the trend as China continues to develop.
I’m sure there’s a lot worse out there.
