Main issue was a bait and switch with duties. Was never told nor was it in the contract that I would need to lose one of my evenings every week or every other week until 9pm. They announced that after the school year started which put a really bad taste in my mouth.
Then there was the endless worthless meetings that could have been used for lesson prep etc... My time was completely monopolized.

Dipont varies tremendously across the network, I guess the same can be said about other such umbrella corporations with many campuses. I was quite happy under them and they were very fair during the c*vid years, with bonus pay and a lot of extra vacation time.
Yeah. The dipont school I worked at is actually my favourite school I we worked at over 2 decades. Best boss. Most professional growth. Best opportunity to target and fix problems. Felt like I actually made a difference.
...no shortage of Friday night degenerates though...
(note: I may have been one of those degenerates)
Oof. That was always the problem with dipont. Some centres were great. Others, absolutely awful.
