What about African Chinese?
Simplified and traditional mandarine are only two of the recognized Chinese alphabets, the 26 letter Chinese Latin alphabet used by the majority of Caucasian Chinese is just as important a tool to express our Chinese thoughts but has been marginalized for centuries by the Aboriginal Chinese majority.
The fact that so many Caucasian Chinese did not have the wealth or privilege growing up to learn the bourgeois Chinese alphabets you use here should not make us second-class citizens and for this reason we do not support the cultural appropriation of forcing these derogatory terms on us and instead use the Caucasian Chinese Latin term “Caucasian Chinese” to describe ourselves.
Well, since African American is 非裔美国人… Then Caucasian Chinese ought to be 欧裔中国人.
